The Jonas Brothers Experience

On Tuesday, I attended the Jonas Brothers Happiness Begins Tour in Nashville. It was absolutely amazing and I loved every minute of it! It was honestly so amazing from start to finish. Bebe Rexha blew up the stage and definitely got the crowd warmed up. From Me Myself and I to The Monster to I’m a Mess. She even brought out Kelsea Ballerina to sing Meant To Be. She had everyone on their feet and definitely got us pumped for the main act!

Finally, it was time for what I had been waiting on since I was ten years old and I saw them open for Hannah Montana on her Best of Both Worlds Tour. I love that this tour was the Happiness begins Tour because it honestly couldn’t be more true. I felt my heart beating out of my chest the instant they started their descent from the ceiling.

They started out with Rollercoaster, SOS, Only Human, Cool, and That’s Just The Way We Roll. I was singing and dancing from the minute they entered the stage arena. You could tell that they were truly thrilled to be there with us. As they stepped off of the platform and onto the stage, they took a minute to bask in the glow and let us fill up a minute of pure screaming and joy.

img_4726They finally traveled to the back stage. This was the first time they traveled down the runway, walking right past me at arm’s length. I honestly could not believe that I was that close to them. That was, after all, the reason I chose runway side seats. After singing Hesitate and Gotta Find You, Kevin and Joe made their way back down the runway and backstage while Nick stayed behind to sing jealous. This lead to him joining Joe back on stage for a absolute wild performance of Cake By The Ocean. By wild I mean there was confetti canons and the tall skinny blow up dolls you usually see at car dealerships.

img_4659On to my favorite part of the night. The part where we all made the Jonas Brothers cry. As we arrived at our seats that evening, each audience member found a paper in their seat that was double sided. The one side said “THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK TO US” the back side read that it was a surprise for the Brothers and that we were to hold it up only when they sing Comeback so it could remain a surprise until then. As they came out to sing the song we held our signs high and proud. Upon reading what they all said, the brothers got emotional on stage. The song ended with Kevin sitting at the piano, Joe leaning up against it, and Nick sat on the steps in front. they took a minute to sit and look around while wiping their eyes. I will have to admit that I got emotional as well. Seeing everyone holding up the signs and seeing how touched they were brought rolling tears down my cheeks.

img_4939It was by far my favorite moment from the show, not only due to the impact it had on the brothers, but also because it was the best way that we could have ever show our love for this band. Thank you to With The Band for helping us show our love! The Jonas Brothers truly mean a lot to each and everyone that was in those stands. I know that they have always been the ones to lift me up when I am down and their music has never bough me anything but happiness.

After the tear jerking tribute, they segued into When You Look Me In The Eyes, which is my absolute all time favorite song. This caused additional tears. Everyone proceeded to turn their flashlights on their phones and we had yet another unison fan experience. They then traveled back down to the back stage area to toast us with shots of tequila and perform a compilation of songs. These songs included Mandy, Paranoid, Got Me Going Crazy, and Play My Music.

img_4936They then made their way back to the stage where they performed Hold On and Tonight. These were among the many jump-worthy songs. we then finally got to the anticipated Lovebug. This was the one I had been waiting on because I just KNEW it would be great live. It did not disappoint! As they reached the rev up you could feel the crowd holding their breath and readying their lungs. As the beat hit and Joe screamed out “NOW I’M” fireworks went off behind them and the crowd went nuts. Joe then screamed out his “WAHOO” and the song continued with us screaming the lyrics along with them.

From here we got to the other anticipated song, Year 3000. You could feel the excitement and the joyous energy throughout the stadium as we sang along while jumping out of our shoes. It truly is crazy to think that they might finally get to put out their seventh album that will out sell Kelly Clarkson. We also got a fun surprise from Dan and Shay who showed up to sing out Tequila with the band. After these wonderful performance, the band left the stage with the band playing them out. The stage and arena sat in darkness for almost two minutes as everyone cheered and chanted Jonas for their encore return. Finally, the stage screen lit up with flames and EVERYONE erupted. We all knew that it meant it was time for the one and only Burnin’ Up.  They blast up from the stage as fire shoots off around them and begin the performance that has been in everyone’s dreams for ten plus years.

After Burnin Up concluded they performed their hit, Sucker, and gave us all one last perfect performance of dancing and singing our hearts off. With one final bow, they left the stage and we all departed the arena, our hearts full of song and Jonas fever.

I made sure to grab a hand full of confetti and my poster as I left and I stuck it into a Ziploc bag when I got home. This, along with my pictures, will eventually be put into a scrapbook to commemorate the best night of my life. I will never forget this concert and the friends I made through our love of this band. I will never forget the amount of love and joy I felt being in the crowd with thousands of people who all became one under the Jonas family. Thank you Jonas Brothers for everything you have given us, your adoring fans. You have no idea the joy that you have brought to all of us and I speak for everyone in that arena when I say that it was AMAZING finally getting to give back to you through unanimous celebration!

  1. It’s genuinely very complicated in this full of activity life to listen news on Television, therefore I only
use the web for that purpose, and get the hottest news.
