My Disney World Packing List

Hello and welcome to this week’s blog post! If you are new to my blog, be sure to follow my blog for more like this and leave a comment below to let me know your thoughts. If you are a returning reader, then welcome back! Next week I am going to Walt Disney World and I am SO ready! This blog post will contain my general packing list and tips for packing for trips like this. Enjoy!

img_5303This trip is going to be a warm one. We are meant to be in the 80s all week, so that means short sleeves and shorts. We actually have plans to match for two of the days we are gonna be there. We are all gonna wear shirts that say “The One Where They Go To Disney” in the Friends font, and then for the other day, two of us are wearing Star Wars shirts and the other two are wearing Graduation shirts because they graduate in December. For the rest of the week, I have Disney shirts packed including a High School Musical shirt, a Jonas Brothers shirt, and a Rapunzel shirt. For shorts, I have Nike Pro shorts packed in gray, black, purple, blue, and red. I also have high waisted light blue jean shorts to wear for one of the days.

As far as shoes go, I definitely recommend comfortable walking shoes, so I am packing my Birkenstock sandals and my Nike tennis shoes. This leads to obviously bringing socks. Two of the nights we are going to Disney Springs to eat out and have a girl’s night out, so we are each taking two nice outfits. My nice outfits include a nice top and skirt and a floral black dress, both to be paired with some brown sandal heels.

For essentials, I am including my undergarments, pajamas, and a bathing suit for the hotel pool. I will also be including a pair of rose gold mickey ears and a black Mickey Mouse baseball cap. I am packing a pullover for cool nights and a rain jacket as well. My rain jacket is SUPER handy; it folds up into the pocket and has a strap to hold it with, so carrying it around the park will be NO PROBLEM.

Side note: my plane outfit is a long sleeve comfy tee and a pair of black Nike Pro shorts with my Birkenstocks.

My toiletries include the basics: a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, a hairbrush, and medicine. I am also bringing some travel size shower supplies such as body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Obviously, a razor will be included as well as Bobby pins and hair bows. I am also bringing my makeup. It will be SUPER minimum because it will be sweat off, but my makeup also includes a moisturizer that has sunscreen in it as well as skincare things for each night to rehydrate my skin.

For miscellaneous, I will be including sunglasses, my chargers, my money, my Fitbit, some earbuds, and the lanyard to hold all of my money and such. I will also have my luggage tags for the Magical Express that picks us up and takes us to and from the airport, as well as my Mickey band that will keep up with our dining plan and fast pass details. For my non-essential miscellaneous items, I am including a book for the plane, my iPad for school work, and some jewelry basics for daily and for our nights out.

Personal Bag

My personal bag will include my documents for the room and plane as well as things meant to keep me entertained. For example, I will also have my earbuds, my book, and iPad. I will also have my toiletries with me as well. I always keep my toiletries in my personal bag to keep things from busting by getting jostled about. This also helps to keep certain products close such as contact solution, moisturizer, makeup wipes, and a hairbrush.

That is it for my Disney World packing list! Two weeks from now, I will be posting a review of my trip along with tips on Disney World visits. I hope you have enjoyed this week’s blog post! Be sure to click that like button and leave a comment down below to let me know your thoughts/questions.
