Hello and welcome to his week’s blog post. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy new year! If you are new to my blog, be sure to follow me for notifications on future posts. If you are a returning reader, then welcome back. 2019 went by so fast, it was a huge blur. now it’s 2020 and I graduate in 5 months. Thats horrifying. I have, however, created some New Years resolutions to help me get through it all.
My first resolution is to graduate from college obviously. Specifically I would like to graduate with A/B honor roll. Hopefully with only four classes that will be achievable. I made sure to take on extra classes here and there in order to have an easy final semester. This will really come in handy with two of my classes. One of them is Advanced Accounting which will be like drinking from a fire hydrant and then there is Business Strategy which will require massive exams and a huge group project. Good luck to me.
HEALTH AND FITNESS
Another New Years resolution category I am giving myself is health and fitness. I plan to be healthier this year and to treat my body better. This will include dieting and exercise as well. I have already created a daily workout plan for weekdays. I am setting myself with little weight goals. My finish point is to be at 150, but I am setting goals at 200 and 175 so I can be happy when I reach those checkpoints. This is a tip I always have for anyone, on most subjects, but definitely with weight loss. This will keep you from getting discouraged when you don’t reach that big goal as quickly as you thought you would. My ultimate focus is to be at 175 by graduation. Fingers crossed.
I also have a couple personal resolutions through mentality, literature, and media. For the first one, I am aiming this year to focus on me, so positivity, self awareness, more yoga, and overall less negativity. This year I will be graduating, moving out (ideally), and finding full-time employment. This is the year to purely focus on me and my happiness. This means reading for pleasure, watching crap loads of television, getting healthier and feeling better, hanging out with friends and family, keeping up with my bullet journal, and most importantly just living my best life. As far as literature goes, I am aiming to finish the reading list that I have created in my bullet journal, and hopefully finishing all of the books on my shelves that are unread (not an easy feat). For media this means bingeing like crazy on all of the shows in my streaming queues as well as watching my favorite movies another time through.
Last, but not least, I have some adult life resolutions. These resolutions include savings, finding an apartment, and getting a new full-time job upon graduation. As far as savings go, I have my savings goals in my bullet journal (click here to view those) These are a major priority for me this year, especially with wanting to find a new apartment to live in. As far as the actual apartment hunting goes, I actually have a few places in mind to gear my savings towards. I am looking for unfurnished since I already have so much of my own furniture already. for my new job, I have a friend waiting for me to apply at her job to be in her department where she can put in a good word, so we’ll just keep our fingers crossed on that one as well. I will begin applying there next month so here’s hoping.
