The Top 12 Best Halloween TV Episodes

Welcome to Karmen’s Korner! If you are a new reader, be sure to follow my blog to get notifications on future posts (it’s free to create an account). If you are a returning reader, then welcome back. This week, I am discussing my top 12 Halloween TV episodes. These are the episodes I watch every October. They are range from spooky to just plain insane to comedy vibes. I love watching these and I love the way they set the vibe!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (3×13: This Is A Dark Ride)

This episode is absolutely insane! In my opinion, Pretty Little Liars was one of the best shows to watch at Halloween. They always knew how to set the vibe every year. Their Halloween episodes were all so good, but this one was my absolute favorite! This episode includes Adam Lambert, roofies, someone trapped in a coffin and being pushed off of a moving train, a masked human terrorizing passengers, and a dead body or two. I know what you’re thinking; Adam Lambert? 🙂 If this sounds the least bit interesting to you, watch it!

FRIENDS (8×06: The One with the Halloween Party)

This episode is definitely a comedic relief. If you are a fan of Friends, then you will know this episode. We have Ross dressed as a potato, Rachel bribing children, and an intense arm wrestling contest. I love this episode so much!

THE OFFICE (2×05: Halloween + 7×06: Costume Contest)

Here we have another comedic relief moment. These two episodes are just a couple of the many Halloween episodes that The Office has, but they are my favorites. With the first one, we have anxiety, lay offs, and the best costume Dwight ever wears. We also get the first true Creed scene. The second one is just a crazy rollercoaster of costume changes. Both of these are just so funny! If you are a fan of the office or comedy in general, watch these!

PARKS AND RECREATION (5×05: Halloween Suprise)

Who could ever forget this episode of Parks and Rec??? Jerry’s fart attack and Ron being a family man. yet again this is another comedic relief and this show does have other Halloween episodes, but this one is my favorite. Poor Jerry/ Terry/ Larry/Garry/Barry.

SUPERNATURAL (1×05: Bloody Mary + 4×05: Monster Movie + 13×11: Breakdown)

So, this show is filled with Halloween themed episodes. Every episode is creepy and filled with all levels of monsters, but these three are the ones that stand out to me when I think Halloween. We are definitely moving away from comedy with these, so prepare to be creeped out. The first one speaks for itself and definitely gave me nightmares. The second one is a very cool episode when the boys get involved in a black and white old monster movie theme. You can’t get any more classic than Dracula, the Wolfman, and the Mummy? With the third one, we have human butchering and body parts being sold online… I mean…

ONE TREE HILL (3×04: An Attempt to Tip the Scales)

Here is another break from the creepy. I love this show so much, and this episode is so much fun with Nathan as Batman, Haley as Sandy, Brooke as a devil, Peyton as a dark angel, Mouth as John Travolta, and Lucas as Tommy Lee. We also get a spot on imitation of Jack Sparrow from Lucas. Nathan as Batman just gives all of the vibes in this one, and who doesn’t love a performance from Fall Out Boy?

GREY’S ANATOMY (4×05: Haunt You Every Day)

A man saws off his own foot. It doesn’t get crazier than that. Grey’s has many Halloween episodes, but this is the one that stands out to me. The patients are just extra cray in this one.

THE RESIDENT (2×06: Nightmares + 3×04: Belief System)

Medical dramas always seem to have the craziest holiday episodes. With the first one, we have a woman having intense night terrors with creepy monsters, while the second one has intense nightmares and a dead person coming back to life. The second episode effectively creeped me out. A scarecrow comes to life… thats all I need to be petrified. Also, side note, if you were a fan of the Cosby Show, Malcolm Jamal Warner (Theo) is a main character in this show. I was a huge fan of this and I love his character!
