Best Pet Products for Dogs

Welcome to Karmen’s Korner! If you are a new reader, be sure to follow my blog to get notifications on future posts.  If you are a returning reader, then welcome back. This week, I am giving away all my best kept pet product secrets. This ranges from toys, to beds, to bath products. If you own a dog, then this is the exact place you need to be. I have a Yorkshire Terrier, Sammie, and he loves these products and I love them too as a dedicated dog mom.

I will forever stand by Kong dog toys. We used to have an English mastiff and even he couldn’t bust through those toys. For my Yorkie, we stick to the Kong stuffed animals. He can chew on these toys forever and not tear them up. His favorite animals are definitely the bears. I got him two different colored ones for Christmas and he literally couldn’t decide which one to play with.

A couple years ago my dad bought these therapeutic dog beds off of amazon, and now he won’t lay in anything else. They are these round fur beds that they can curl up into. They are meant to be great for dogs with high anxiety and stress. We like them since he is home alone while we are all at work and it is nice to know he has a calming space to lay while he is alone. 100% recommend!

Bath Products

For his bath time I always use Baby Johnson’s shampoo and then I usually use Suave conditioner just to lightly get the tips of the hair on his mussel and ears to keep them soft and less tangled. The shampoo is great because it won’t hurt his eyes and it is gentle, and it smells great. After his bath, I just use my InStyle hair dryer and a comb to dry and brush him.

Day to Day Essentials

As far as his food goes, we have always used Science Diet for all of our dogs. It has always been a good brand and it keeps his coat shiny. With him being alone while we are at work, we do have him trained to use a puppy pad while we are gone. We use the dog pads from Costco (white padding with blue outer layer) and they are perfect. Very absorbent and lots of room for multi-use. On the treat side of things, my dog will eat just about anything, but his number one is Beggin Strips. He even knows exactly what cabinet we keep them in and is always standing there right when I exit the bathroom in the mornings. He also has always loved Cheerios and all he has to do is hear the name or see the box and it’s is bark city until he gets a handful.

These are the dog products I stand by and I know I won’t hear any complaints from my fury best friend.
