How to Get that Cozy Spooky Season Vibe

Spooky season is upon us and the fall vibes are setting in. I for one have been waiting forever for it and am so excited it is finally here. This is my favorite time of year! The leaves are changing, the coffee is brewing, and the sweaters have been pulled out of storage. This is purely a cozy time. The perfect moments for curling up with a book and a hot beverage. So, how do you get that cozy spooky season vibe? I am here to help.

The first thing you can do is light a cozy scented candle. Anything with vanilla, bergamot, or coconut. Bath and Body Works is sure to have the perfect fall scent. Light that candle and it will not only set the aesthetic, it will get you feeling warm inside. After that is done, put on some comfy clothes. This can be an oversized sweater and leggings or a pair of sweats and a sweatshirt. Whatever you are comfiest in, put it on.

After you are feeling warm and cozy, turn on a lo-fi playlist. I have one, or you can simply pull one up on YouTube. The right lo-fi playlist will keep you productive without distraction. I love lo-fi for reading or writing. It sets the perfect vibe.

Once the music is playing, pour yourself a cup of hot tea, hot coffee, or iced coffee and find a comfy spot where you can smell your candle and hear your music. For me, this is my reading room, in my reading chair. Grab a blanket curl up.

This next step is open to whatever you want. For me, the next step would be to grab my book, but you can turn on Netflix, grab a coloring book, or whatever activity you enjoy that you can enjoy from your cozy spot. If this activity is streaming, then I recommend turning down the music šŸ˜‰

What is your favorite way to get into the cozy vibe? I love to also turn on my fake candles on my bookshelf and plug in my string lights for the ultimate aesthetic. Blogtuber continues with more spooky season blog posts from yours truly so don’t miss out.
