The Best Snacks for Halloween

It should be a pretty obvious fact by now that Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love spooky season and everything that comes with it- the weather, the movies, the colors, the overall vibe, and definitely the snacks. The best Halloween snacks are easy, fun, and perfect for a night in front of the tv. These snacks combine sweet and savory. I even have a healthier option. Not too healthy, but just enough to lighten the load. Read on for my Halloween snacks and be sure to check out my other Blogtober posts.

Witch Brooms

These are probably the easiest snack I have on here. Simply turn a Reeses Cup upside down and stick a pretzel stick in in the center. Done! This snack combines salty and sweet and looks so cute on a plate.

Halloween Oreos

This snack is the easiest of all. Simply go to the store and purchase them. The icing is the same except it’s orange. It may only look different, but I swear it tastes better. Maybe it’s just the fact that they are orange and Halloween themed…

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

This is another snack I usually just buy from the store, but making your own is quite easy. Just purchase some melting chocolate that will harden (usually found with the strawberries) and purchase some pretzels. Simply melt the chocolate by following the directions on the container and dip the pretzels in. After they cool and harden, you are ready to snack!

Candy Corn Popcorn

This is my favorite Halloween snack. It’s super easy to put together and you get that sweet and salty mixture. I usually just make some microwavable popcorn, let it cool a bit, and then pour in some candy corn. Once it’s all mixed, enjoy!

Spider Crackers

This one is another fun themed snack. Take some circular crackers, spread some cream cheese on one cracker and place another on top to make a sandwich. Then, place the ends of six pretzels into the sides of the cream cheese to make the spider legs and voila! This snack is a tiny bit healthier and way less sweet. So if you are looking for a snack with less sweet and more savory, then this is the way to go.
