This trip was so amazing, and I couldn’t have imagined spending it in any other way than with family (although I did miss my dog). I had an absolutely wonderful time and hit so many things off my list. From food favorites to must-do adventures, this trip did not disappoint! My vlog is linked below, so be sure to check it out and subscribe to my channel.
Epcot is among my favorite parks with my favorite restaurant in all of Disney being located in Italy. This wonderful eatery is called Tutto Italia Ristorante and will supply you with the most amazing Gnocchi Sorrentina and a glass of Batasiolo Moscato you have ever consumed. I yearn for this place every time I visit. If I did nothing else the entire trip, but eat here, I would be a happy camper. Also, don’t forget to stop by La Patisserie in France for some delectable pastries. The chocolate croissants are top-notch.
In Magic Kingdom, I always enjoy some melt-in-your-mouth nachos from Pecos Bills or a quality chicken parm from Pinocchio’s Tavern. For Animal Kingdom, I always recommend Flametree Barbeques for some mac n’ cheese with pulled pork and an onion ring, and for Hollywood Studios, go straight to Backlot Express for a Backlot Burger!
Epcot may not have a lot of rides, but Soarin, Frozen, and Ratatouille are worth the visit! In Magic Kingdom, my favorite rides are always Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, Winnie The Pooh, and the People Mover in Tomorrowland. For Animal Kingdom, obviously, Pandora has some amazing rides, but don’t sleep on Dinosaur. I loved the movie growing up, so the ride is undoubtedly one of my favorites. Also, don’t forget to visit the Safari to get a look at some amazing animals, and check out the Gorilla exhibit to see some huge silverbacks.
Hollywood Studios is my favorite park and therefore has my favorite rides. Galaxy’s Edge is super fun and has amazing immersive rides such as Smuggler’s Run and Rise of the Resistance. Toy Story Land is always a fun visit where I get to compete with my family in Toy Story Mania. Finally, I love Rock N Rollercoaster and listening to Aerosmith music while cruising around the inside rollercoaster tracks.
As far as this topic goes, I have a few pointers for each park. For Magic Kingdom, I recommend watching the fireworks as far away from the castle as possible and maybe off to the side against the rsiling. As soon as those fireworks end, the entirety of the park is going to be shuffling out. You have never seen that many people in one place in your entire life until you see them all trying to leave MK. So be prepared to hang around for a bit afterwards. Also, if you just want to see the fireworks and not the castle light show, the area around the Winnie the Pooh ride provides a crowd-free viewing.
For Animal Kingdom, if you are planning to get to the park when it opens, do not go to Pandora. That is where everyone else is going! Instead, go to Dinoland and be among the VERY FEW people to ride Dinosaur and the safari. Morning it the best time to go on the safari. The animals are out for their breakfasts and waking up from the night. Get a lightning lane for Pandoran and hit it later!
For Epcot, be sure to check out the hidden shows in Canada, France, and Japan which offer a 365 viewing of beautiful gems from each country. For Hollywood Studios, everyone is going to go straight to Galaxy’s Edge, so head to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad or Slinky Dog Dash. Those two rides fill up fast as well, but a majority are going to Galaxy’s Edge. Need a quick snack? A cart by Rock N’ Rollercoaster sells pretzels stuffed with cream cheese which are AMAZING!
And remember, every park has a Starbucks!
Meeting Rapunzel while in my Tangled outfit was a major highlight! Since Tangled is my favorite movie, I had to plan an inspired outfit. Also loved getting to catch up with someone I haven’t seen since I was about 12 years old and we were singing High School Musical. I even got to ride Rise of the Resistance twice and the drop scared me both times. Getting to ride Jungle Cruise for the first time was as corny as I imagined and I loved it.
